Application Instructions: 1) Feed material into the cutter so that the Magic Mask carrier is on the bottom. 2) Cut Logo, words or numbers in reverse (mirror). See bottom of page specific cutting instructions. 3) Weed away excess material leaving only the CAD-CUT EconoPrint design on the Magic Mask carrier for heat application. 4) Preheat garment. Then position weeded design on garment with the Magic Mask carrier side up (reads left to right). Place a Kraft Paper cover sheet over carrier before pressing. 5) Heat Apply at 330° for 6-8 seconds using light pressure. (NOTE: This is based on Stahls’ Hotronix and Hot One heat presses. Settings on other heat presses may vary.) 6) Important!- PEEL COLD! The design must cool completely before peeling the clear carrier. 7) Complete the application by completely covering the graphic with the Kraft Paper & reseal at 330° for 3-5 seconds using light pressure. ** If you have matte ECONOPRINT™ (the liner appears frosted), a one step heat application can be used for one color designs. Follow steps 1-4 and heat apply at 330° for 10-15 seconds using light pressure. PEEL COLD!
NOTES:
Cutting 1. Test the adjustments on your cutter before production. Based on the variety of cutters, different force and blade lift settings may be necessary for your machine. 2. Remember to "mirror" the image before cutting. 3. For best results, do not cut graphics smaller than 1/2". Additional Information: Two-color ECONOPRINT™ - After preheating the garment position the first color, cover with Kraft paper and then press for 3-5 seconds at 330° F. Peel Cold! Align second color, cover with Kraft paper and follow steps 5-7. Multi-Color Designs: For 3, 4 or more color designs, simply repeat the two color application process as many times as needed. |
