Many decoration products can be knife or laser cut as a single layer of material,
and there are advantages to both. Both knife and laser cutting methods
offer you the ability to affordably order "one-offs" where each of your garments
is embellished with a unique name, number or design cut from a particular decoration product.
Uses:
- Knife Cutting - Use when ordering smaller quantity and quantity minimums.
-
Laser Cutting -
For the cleanest, sealed-edge cut, laser cutting is best. Laser-cut twill seals
the edges of each cut so your twill will not fray. Additionally, you may request
a permanent adhesive backing to be placed on some of our twill products so that no
sewing is necessary.

| Most of the time knife cutting is ideal for small quantity production runs. After a decoration material is cut with a knife cutter, it should be sewn to the garment to ensure permanancy. |
Laser cutting is recommended when it is pertinent that your twill decorations do not fray. When twill is cut with a laser, is edges are sealed thus preventing any chance of frayed decorations. |
